Dear Joanne,
I wondered if you could tell me where I may source dessicated liver from organically raised beef...or tablets.
Thankyou.

hi, my liver has been extremely inflammed to 9mm for the past two months western doctors have not been able to figure out what is causing this, my herbalist had prescribed me on liver cleanse, but to be honest I do not feel any better sense finishing it and the pain is now worse. I am unsure how to cure my yin deficiency but this cannot go on. I have issues with eating meat in general though...whenever i eat it has to be thoroughly cooked...I have never had liver before, and I could force myself if nessacary cooked but no way could I ever consume it raw, I just can't risk that and I think I would make myself sick from it, I have no problem with who eats it raw.

Please I need help! I am still very young and full of vitality, I am 19 and am female. Please can you help me balance my energy?

Sorry, but if one has liver yin deficiency, the LAST things they should consume are garlic, onions, pepper -- any sort of 'yang' food or spice. The "Dirty Rice" recipe is completely inappropriate for deficient yin.
